This International Women's Day, Elyse Harney Real Estate is proud to join Harney & Sons Tea in celebrating the remarkable achievements of women around the world and the incredible women of both our successful businesses. We take a moment to honor all the women who have been instrumental in our companies' success, with a special tribute to Elyse Harney, the matriarch of both Elyse Harney Real Estate and Harney & Sons Tea.

Elyse Harney's journey began over 60 years ago when she moved to Salisbury with her late husband, John Harney, who became the managing partner at the White Hart Inn. While John started the Harney tea company in the basement of their home, Elyse founded her own real estate company above, supporting the family as Harney & Sons grew. Her hard work, commitment, and loyalty have been a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and perseverance. Elyse's warm heart and ability to bring people together are qualities that have been passed down through generations. Her children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren all strive to emulate her compassionate nature, and their lives have been enriched by her influence.

Today, Elyse continues to work alongside her daughter, Elyse Harney Morris, who deserves a special recognition of her own. As the #1 agent in Litchfield County, Elyse Harney Morris has been a driving force in the success of Elyse Harney Real Estate. Her leadership, dedication, and commitment to her clients and the community have earned her widespread respect and admiration. Together, Elyse Harney and Elyse Harney Morris have transformed Elyse Harney Real Estate into the leading agency of the tri-state region.
