Mark your calendars ~ a great weekend is fast approaching
Lime Rock Park hosts Historic Festival 32 ~ Thursday, August 28 through Labor Day Monday, September 1, 2014. Honored Guests are Sir Stirling Moss & Lady Susie ~ Honored Collector is Ralph Lauren, with five spectacular cars of his, rarely if ever seen in public ~ on display.
The Thursday Vintage Race & Sports Car Parade presented by Abarth U.S.A. is one of the most popular events that surround each year’s Historic Festival. Starting at 4:00pm, more than 120 great cars “rally” over a 17-mile route on the local roads, including a loop through the heart of Lakeville and Salisbury. Our Salisbury Office, and the newly opened White Hart Inn, is a great place to view the parade ~ a live broadcast in scheduled from this viewing area.
5:00pm ~ the parade of cars arrive in Falls Village for the Street Fair: Live music, entertainment, great food ~ and hundreds of cars on display in the village green.
Overall, a great weekend to enjoy our special place in the Tri-State region.
