
Sharon’s 26th Annual Book Signing
Join us this Friday for one of Sharon’s most-anticipated events! The Hotchkiss Library’s 26th annual book signing will feature 27 authors under a tent on the library lawn. This year’s event includes a diverse selection of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books.
Highlights include children’s books like “Catskill Creatures” by Nancy Furstinger and “The Chudderdudders” by Sharon native Christopher Heacox.
Notable non-fiction works include Bunny Williams’ “Life in the Garden,” Lynn Slater’s “How to Be Old,” Michiko Kakutani’s “The Death of Truth,” and Peter Goodman’s “How the World Ran out of Everything.”
Additionally, Francine Prose’s memoir “1974” and Peter Steiner’s new detective series prequel “The New Detective” will be featured.
Early admission tickets are $75 from 4:45 to 5:30 PM, general admission is $50 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, and a “pay what you can” option is available from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Exclusive dinners with some authors are available for $250.
