Kathy Good has been the recipient of several grants and awards from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. She has been a visiting Artist and grant recipient at Weir Farm, Ridgefield Ct.
Her fresh, vigorous paint handling, provokes transcendental sensory after-images of ocean atmosphere and long low horizons, far different than the close and ethereal woodlands she formally portrayed. These current works indicate an intensity of emotional response to place and the particular poetic nature of its forms.
