Annual Bat Talk & Count – Salisbury Association Land Trust
Join the Salisbury Association Land Trust for an exciting event to learn about the flying mammals that roost in the attics of the Salisbury Association’s Academy Building and the Scoville Memorial Library. Devaughn Fraser, a CT DEEP wildlife biologist and bat specialist, will provide a fascinating presentation on these nocturnal creatures. Afterward, participate in counting the bats as they embark on their nightly flight from the Academy Building.
This event is for all ages! In case of rain, the presentation will be held in the Wardell Room at the Scoville Library and will not include a bat count.
Registration is appreciated but not required. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, bug spray, and flashlights!
