Love to bike? Come join Norfolk Rails to Trails and Great Mountain Forest for Tour de Forest on Saturday!
Norfolk’s Annual Tour de Forest biking event is a 13-mile bike ride encompassing a mix of dirt and paved roads through some of Norfolk and Falls Village’s most pristine countryside. It is a slow-paced recreational ride, with all ages welcome. Participants will be encouraged to visit each of the different informational stops along the route to get a card punched, which in turn, will be used to enter into a drawing for prizes at the end of the ride. Refreshments will also be available at the Curling Club after the ride, along with an educational demonstration on the sport of curling. Ride starts at 10 AM at the Curling Club at 70 Golf Drive, Norfolk, CT on Saturday, 10/12. Registration is from 8:30 to 9:45. They are limiting the event to 100 participants so be sure to register early!
