- All proceeds from the clambake are used to advance the mission of the Jane Lloyd Fund which helps cancer patients meet their day-to-day financial obligations while undergoing cancer treatments. When local Salisbury resident, 38-year old Jane Lloyd was diagnosed with cancer, she was unable to work full time, and the stress of meeting her financial obligations weighed heavily upon her. A large group of friends and community members assumed Lloyd’s day-to-day expenses, enabling her to live her final days at home. After her death, the Jane Lloyd Fund was established to provide financial support for families facing a cancer diagnosis in the Region One area.
