Come to GMF on Saturday evening to celebrate Earth Day around a campfire as we read poems of the late Mary Oliver and enjoy some special music.
Mary Oliver, a Pulitzer-prize winning poet of the natural world, died in January at age 83.
Earth Day Camp Fire Poetry:
A Night of Mary Oliver

Join us at sunset around the campfire as we share some of Mary Oliver’s poetry. Readers and listeners are both welcome to enjoy the evening sky, a bright fire, and some refreshments. Relax and watch the stars come out as you listen to some specially chosen poems celebrating Mary Oliver’s life and talents. Corey Bush will sing and play guitar at the end of the readings. Dress warmly, bring your own camp chair and a flashlight. Refreshments will be served.
