As we wind down to the closing ceremonies of the Sochi winter Olympics, we would like to express our admiration to all the athletes of Team USA. They have represented us with great pride and honor, competing as true world ambassadors. Special recognition goes to Maddie Bowman, the USA skier who became the first-ever gold medalist in women’s free-ski half-pipe. Maddie’s victory is a tribute to Sarah Burke, the Canadian freestyle skier whose dream was to make this known X-game competition an Olympic sport. Sarah, who died in 2012 following a training accident, has been an inspiration to so many athletes and fans throughout the world, for her extraordinary goodwill, both on and off the slopes.
